The 2019 vintage conditions in Western Australia was near perfect with a mild and dry summer preceding a wetter than average winter. The favourable weather conditions resulted in healthy vines with high quality and vibrant fruit.
The fruit parcels for the iconic Houghton White Classic are mainly sourced from the Northern vineyards of the Gingin and Swan Valley regions of WA. Machine harvesting at night ensures the fruit is picked in optimal conditions to retain freshness and flavour. Gentle processing of fruit preceded cold settling and cool fermentation in stainless steel
tanks to ensure vibrancy and freshness is retained.
